When you ask your AI assistant to do something, the connector acts on that instruction and reads or produces data that already belongs to your BizGenius account:

• Citations & citation-widget analytics — the published papers in your own citation library, and aggregated statistics about how visitors interact with your citation widget. This is your account’s own data.
• ChatGenius analytics — statistics and transcripts of conversations your website visitors had with your own ChatGenius assistant. These may include information your visitors typed, such as an email address or IP address, which you already see in your BizGenius portal.
• Academic leads — contact details (name, email, affiliation) of researchers identified from public sources such as PubMed, PubMed Central, NIH grant records and Google Scholar, matched to a search you run.
• Deep Analysis & Patents/Scholar Search — results computed or retrieved from public literature and patent databases in response to your query.

Some features process personal data about people other than you — researchers whose published contact details appear in a leads list, or your website visitors in ChatGenius analytics. For this data you are the controller and BizGenius acts on your instructions. We use it only to provide the feature you asked for, we do not sell it, and we do not use it to train AI models. You are responsible for using contact details and visitor data lawfully, including under applicable privacy and anti-spam laws (see our Terms of Service).

• We do not store your password. Sign-in happens on our own login page and the connector only ever receives a token.
• We do not store your card number. Payments are handled by Stripe; we hold only a customer reference.
• We do not receive or store your conversations with your AI assistant. We see only the parameters a tool is called with.
• We do not knowingly collect special-category data, health records, or data about children.
• We do not sell your data, and we do not use your data or queries to train AI models.

We share data with a small number of providers only as needed to run the service:

• Stripe — processes payments for paid plans and holds billing details.
• Public databases and search providers — to run a search or analysis, the query terms you supply are sent to public sources (such as PubMed and NIH) and to third-party search API providers. We do not send them your account identity.

On our own servers in the United States. Tokens are stored hashed, so a copy of the database does not yield a usable credential. All traffic to the connector is over HTTPS.

• Disconnect at any time — remove the connector in Claude or ChatGPT, which stops all access immediately.
• See your own usage and data — your BizGenius account pages show your library, analytics and usage.
• Ask for a copy, correction or deletion of your data by emailing us. We will respond within 30 days.

If this policy changes materially we will update the date at the top of this page and notify account holders by email before the change takes effect.
